A hideaway, hearth and home-away-from-home.

The original home of High Pastures founder, Betty Motsinger, this white stone, two-story gabled ranch house accommodates up to 24 people with a minimum of 14. Air conditioned, quiet and secluded, this retreat spot contains 8 bedrooms, a dining room with 20 seats, a meeting room and a flagstone fireplace to gather round in the evenings with a cup of tea.

With an elevation of 3500 feet, Carolina Hemlock looks over the main part of High Pastures property, as well King’s Mountain and Green Mountain. The views are inspiring. Step out on the porch and take in the gentle, sweeping contours of the mountains and lush horizons of High Pastures in this little slice of Appalachian heaven.
